Search

zeitkapsl supports smart search features across the apps to help you find photos and videos you are looking for. Currently, search by the following criteria is supported:

• Date (e.g. May 2019, 11.10.2021)
• Location (by city, city district, region or country)
• Text contained in the image (e.g. ingredients in recipes)
• Smart tags (e.g. mountains, food, concert, cat,...)
• Camera maker and model (e.g. Sony, iPhone 12)
• People
• Custom tags

Additionally, you can filter your library in the main view by the following criteria by selecting the corresponding option in the dropdown when clicking/tapping the search bar:

• Media Type (Photos/Videos/Motion Photos)
• Favorites (favorite/unfavorite photos and videos by pressing the star-icon)
• Hidden
• Unsorted (media items that are not assigned to any album)
• On this day (media items taken today or on the same day in previous years)
