Referrals

Invite a friend with the referral code or link in Account Settings. When both of you subscribe to a paid plan, you each receive the bonus storage shown there.

The code must be entered while creating the new account. Until both accounts have a paid subscription, the referral is shown as Pending. Account Settings also shows your total bonus storage and referral status.

Referral bonuses are for genuine referrals. Bonuses obtained through abuse may be revoked.

Referral pages show first names only. If either account is deleted, its name is replaced with Former member.

Cancelling after a referral

Once a referral is rewarded, the bonus storage is yours to keep, cancelling and later reactivating your subscription does not remove it. Only if an account is fully deleted after its grace period does that account's own bonus go away along with the rest of its data; the other party keeps the storage they already received.
